EIA Storage Reports
Each week the Department of Energy – Energy Information Agency (EIA) releases its weekly storage estimates. That data is collated and emailed to subscribers in a timely fashion to keep those interested informed about injection/withdrawal rates. The data is charted and organized in an easy to digest file with historical comparisons and regional breakouts.
WHAT IS NATURAL GAS STORAGE?
Natural gas is stored in a variety of fashions to provide users and other industry participants with a means to smooth supply. Storage typically occurs in underground formations that can be formed from depleted oil fields, salt domes, and other geological structures.
